Books & Brews is hosting a Yule Ball!
Come in your finest ballroom attire and engage in some fun Harry Potter themed trivia, a costume contest and Harry Potter films throughout the day! We will have HP themed beers on tap (and yes, that does include Butter Beer)!
There will be 2 separate events that day, each with separate tickets,
December 9, 10am-4pm
December 9, 6pm-12am
Tickets for this event will go on sale for $20 beginning October 1st at 11am on a first come, first serve basis. Please be sure to purchase the right ticket. Each session will have its own unique ticket and each ticket will only be accepted for the session for which it was purchased. (Note for those that are planning on attending the early event, we will ask that everyone without a ticket for the second session leave by 4:30pm to make room for the evening attendees)
PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL BALL, BUT WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO DRESS UP ANYWAY! SCHEDULE AND EVENTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
The tentative schedule of events is as follows:
9am : Gates open
9am-10am : Harry Potter board games, arts & crafts
10am-1pm : MOVIE - Prisoner of Azkaban
1pm-3pm : Harry Potter Trivia (2 x 1hr sessions, prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place for each session)
3pm-3:30pm : Costume Contest (pre-registration required, stay tuned for details)
3pm-4pm : Harry Potter BINGO
Butter beer will be tapped at 10am SHARP!
For the evening, our tentative schedule will be the following:
5pm : Gates open
5pm-6pm : Harry Potter board games, arts & crafts
6pm- 8:30pm : MOVIE - Goblet of Fire
8:30pm-10:30pm : Trivia (2 x 1hr sessions, prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place for each session)
10:30pm - 11pm : Costume contest (pre-registration required, stay tuned for details)
10:30pm - Late : MOVIE - Half-Blood Prince
Butter beer will be available at 6pm SHARP!
We will have Harry Potter arts & crafts throughout the entire day, guest appearances, as well as some other surprises up our cloaks.
