We have quite a few lovely events and specials happening at Alley's Alehouse for Valentine's Day:
Event Details
- Beer School at Alley's Alehouse hosted by Fountain Square Brewing Co. 7pm-8pm
- A Valentine's Day showcase with Melissa Sandullo at 8pm
- followed up with Niko's Open Stage! 8:30pm-11:30pm

Melissa Sandullo is a completely unique and powerful artist. Take everything you think you know about singer songwriters….and rip it up. For one woman and her piano to create such driven performance with a huge far-reaching sound that is energetic, compelling and passionate is rare. Whether it’s two hundred people or twenty, she blows the crowd away night after night with her ability to speak to the soul.
There’s just something about Melissa. She is all at once funny and wise, thoughtful and uninhibited, and her captivating voice is matched by her personal lyrics. Melissa’s performances are transformational; she leaves her audiences better than she finds them, with softened edges & opened hearts.
Focused on making music that is relevant and vital to her and her audience, she engages with challenging narratives tackling the depth of the human condition, underpinned with a promise of hope. She is driven to write songs that might step up and make some sense of a moment in time. A good song makes you feel like you’re not alone in the world.
Niko's Open Stage is an all ages open stage at Alley's Alehouse for Singer/songwriters, Bands, Comedians, and any other acts to share their talents and build experience in front of a live audience. (Beginners to Professionals)
We begin the evening with a featured local artist followed by open stage until close. All acts are allowed up to 20-30min sets or 3-5 songs depending on # of sign-ups..
No cover charge, just fun! Sign up starts at 7pm and the stage opens up around 8:00pm. Walk-ins welcome! Larger acts should message this page and give prior notice. Let us know your specific sound needs. (how many mics, acoustic guitars, horns, etc)
So Lets have a good time doing what we love to do! ...and feel free to bring whatever instruments, props, etc. that you would like...
