Description
Cheer on students, faculty/staff and alumni at the annual IUPUI Regatta canoe race ! This event is great for all ages, there are games, food trucks, and vendors! It is centered around raising money for student scholarships.
Event Details
The IUPUI Regatta is a half-mile canoe race involving teams of up to six IUPUI students, faculty/staff, and alumni. It begins at the Admiral Spruance Basin at the north end of the canal, traveling down to the USS Indianapolis Basin and back to complete the half mile leg. The Regatta also has exciting events designed to entertain children of all ages, including food trucks, games, marketplace vendors, and live entertainment from Indianapolis-area bands. As a festive event centered around raising money for student scholarships, the Regatta is the premier event each year on the Downtown Canal!
