The Indiana University School of Nursing has been empowering leaders since 1914 and has over 30,000 alumni nationwide. The school boasts a robust program of research focused on quality of life in chronic illness, cancer control, and nursing education. There are four centers to facilitate research: The Center for Enhancing Quality of Life in Chronic Illness: The Center for Reserach in Nursing Education; The Research in Palliative and End-of-Life Communication and Training Center; and the IU School of Nursing Champion Center for Cancer Control Research.
