Hot Glass turns into Flowers at Glass Arts Indiana

In this workshop, our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly.

Lite-weight cotton T-shirts and blue jeans or shorts work well. Wear tennis shoes or walking shoes. NON FLIPFLOPS or HIGH HEELS!

No synthetic clothing!! NO leggings!! No workout clothing or yoga wear!

If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio. You must be 10 years of age or older to participate.
